Suvobrata is a Brooklyn-based pianist and multi-instrumentalist originally from Calcutta, India. He began learning piano at a young age and grew up immersed in both Western classical and Hindustani music. In his teens, he picked up the guitar and began performing with his band—an experience that broadened his musical perspective.
After a hiatus to explore other pursuits, Suvobrata returns to music with a renewed creative vision. His work blends ambient textures, classical minimalism, and cinematic emotion. Set to release his debut EP this year, he offers an introspective, atmospheric sound that reflects a journey of rediscovery. His compositions speak to quiet moments, inner landscapes, and the transformative power of returning to what you love.
